Icarus Project ARCHIVE Collaboration
Do you remember The Icarus Project? Connect with us in 2024
Between 2002-2020, The Icarus Project created a network of peer support groups that provided a home for folks who experience mental health struggles and feel alienated by society. The online discussion boards hosted rich discussions and provided a framework for dozens of mutual aid peer support groups in cities across North America and globally.
A group of organizers are now working to create a living archive of The Icarus Project, and developing an online space to build a creative and visionary network of peer support.
Was your life impacted by The Icarus Project? Are you curious about the work Icarus did to build mutual aid networks for the mad movements and publicly challenge the dominant medical frame of psychiatry? Do you want to be involved? Fill out this form.
